Upcoming Events

We've heard your requests to bring TEM to new areas, and we're responding to your calls! This month and next, we''ve got events scheduled in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, DC and Rockville and we'd love to see you there (details to right). In keeping with our commitment to contribute to the greater good, for events with no registration fee (and there are several!), please bring a donation to support the organization associated with the event you''re attending.

Featured Event: The Enterprising Moms Holiday Biz-aar

The Enterprising Moms is teaming up with Spill the Beans Organic Coffee and Chat House in Alexandria for an evening of festive networking, shopping and fun at our very first Holiday Biz-aar on Wednesday, December 2nd at 6pm!

Spill the Beans, which just celebrated it''s one year anniversary, features healthy foods, delicious hot and frozen beverages, a selection of loose leaf teas, and treats (and toys!!) for kids. It has quickly become a community hot spot and ''the place to meet'' for parents, friends, neighbors, local businesses, and groups of all shapes and sizes. Join us at Mt. Vernon''s favorite new place to connect!

This event has something for everyone:

• Vendor and promotional opportunities for TEM members.
• An hour of private networking and shopping for TEM members (6 - 7pm) with special member-to-member discounts before pubic event.
• Personalized, convenient shopping for everyone featuring gift items and certificates from local business owners.
• Chance to win a filled-to-the brim gift basket or other items (upon purchase of product, service or raffle ticket).
• The satisfaction of supporting mom-business owners, investing in and giving a boost to the local economy and purchasing gift items and certificates from a unique collection of enterprising women.

Many ways to get involved:

• Be a Vendor: Space is limited, so apply early to secure a spot and maximize marketing opportunities. (No duplicate products or services.)
• Be a Sponsor: Got a hot product or service that would make a great raffle prize? Contribute to our raffle and let us help you promote it.
• Shop, Support and Connect: Not a vendor or sponsor? Not a problem. Come support fellow Enterprising Moms, get a jump on your holiday shopping and build relationships.
• Spread the Word: Invite your friends, family, colleagues, neighbors and others to come out and shop. (Open to the public 7 - 9pm)
• Volunteer: It''s a great way have an impact and gain exposure, especially if you''re applying your expertise (event planning, marketing, public relations, logistics, set-up, breakdown, etc.). Not only would we really, really appreciate it, we''ll make sure everyone knows about it (and you and your business).

• Shoppers, just show up and shop!
