You’ve got questions and challenges ... Dr. Rene Hackney, parenting expert and fellow Enterprising Mom (quoted in the July issue of Parenting magazine - upper right green box), has answers!

If you're in northern Virginia and beyond, you've likely heard of her, and may have even seen her speak and/or you or your children may have participated in one of her play groups, workshops or classes. This event is specifically designed for working moms to address challenges that come with working in or outside the home while raising a family.

Join us for this interactive event where she’ll present strategies for effective and empowered parenting and address your challenges during a question and answer session. Learn how using positive discipline strategies can empower you as a parent and build a stronger family.

drrenehackneybwRene Hackney, Ph.D is a leading parenting and child development specialist and the founder and creator of Parenting Playgroups – Where Parents Learn and Children Play. It’s is an organization dedicated to helping parents raise happy, successful children from birth through 10 years of age, and to helping make their families stronger. Parenting Playgroups offers interactive learning opportunities, including parent workshops, children’s programs, social skills groups, group workshops and coaching/consultating service.
